Darren Diamond

CFO

Diamond began his career in finance in 1988 when he joined Citibank, N.A. in New York in the 3-person Corporate Strategic Analysis (CSA) group. There he constructed the 5-year strategic plan for the bank’s worldwide operations and prepared the strategic plan presentations for the Board of Directors. The CSA was also responsible for analyzing and executing various strategic initiatives which were designed to strengthen the bank’s balance sheet and enhance the Bank’s value.

 

Diamond gained the bulk of his financial structuring and corporate finance advisory experience during assignments at Citicorp Securities and FleetBoston Securities where he worked in the Loan Syndications and Private Placements Group on the structuring side and later on the sales side. Diamond also worked as a corporate banker in the Asset-Based Finance Group at Citibank. During this period, Diamond worked primarily with large, highly leveraged companies from a wide variety of industries.

Diamond also possesses considerable entrepreneurial experience having founded his own corporate finance advisory firm, Diamond Capital Company, in 1996. He was also a partner in an emerging management consulting firm based in New Orleans where he was very active in efforts to rebuild that city following Hurricane Katrina. Diamond holds a Master of Business Administration (Finance) from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from Yale University.
